Bogggle.  Where's the RSS feed?

Shame on you, Scoble, for not having a Bright Orange Button clearly visible.

I took the XML icon off because users complained that it made their sites look ugly, and when they clicked on it they got a "broken" looking page.  Since DABU supports all forms of RSS auto-discovery, I figured removing the tacky icon wouldn't make a big difference.

I brought it back, and added a link for OPML, though I'm not sure what colors should be used.  Bright orange again?

Dylan, Robert...

The extension on the OPML file should be .opml.

Then it will work in the directory software.

See the guidelines published in January 2004.

http://feeds.scripting.com/powerOpmlGuidelines

Specifically, item #2: Make the file extension on your OPML file ".opml". This way processors don't have to make an HTTP call to find out the type of your file. In fact most of our code won't make the call and assumes if the extension is not .opml that the file is not OPML. If the processor knows that the thing you're linking to is in OPML it can "include" it seamlessly in the hierarchy it's displaying for the user. This comes up in Web directories as well as the World Outline. Don't understand what that means? You will, soon.

From sparse, austere, minimalist, medieval ... to this! A great improvement. Go with it. But leave that awful orange button out. Remember you're a user :-)

This is a fantastic blogging platform...  Makes others look quite primitive.

I prefer WordPress by a mile. Also, this is a hideous looking blog.

Dave - I changed the OPML extension to use .opml instead of .xml.  Thanks for pointing that out.  http://feeds.scripting.com/powerOpmlGuidelines isn't loading for me.

Instead I used http://www.opml.org/spec - that doc doesn't specify the extension.

Interesting move Robert, but argueably a long time coming ... if for no other reason to have a domain that "maps" better to you. BTW, it looks like you registered this about a year ago - fortunately, nobody cyber-squatted on 'ya. Keep up the commentary! ;-)

Robert, you were VERY well mentioned by many podcasters at the recent Podcast Expo.  Would love to have you on CSULB and/or Cerritos College Radio  ("The Prime Spot").  Perhaps we can even fit it into the curriculi.  Um?  (Curriculum?)

Maybe I should become better educated before ringing your cell!
